YOU’RE NEW TO CBD? HOW MUCH DO I TAKE.

READ THIS GUIDE TO CBD OILS DOSAGE

I am new to CBD. How much do I take? What doses of CBD should you start with if you are a newbie? You do not know. I did not know, I was a newbie too and I was looking desperately for some information out there! All I wanted was to be safe and feel better. There are plenty of sources of information to refer to. It is all so confusing. One source tells you to use 2 drops 3 times a day. Another tells you to read the label. In this post, I’m going to help you to be at ease with this problem –  I will teach you about CBD dosages.

HOW MUCH DO I TAKE?

There is no universal dose of CBD that will suit everyone – this is the truth backed up by the results of a recent study. Everyone responds differently to CBD. How you will respond depends on many factors: weight, individual body chemistry, what are you taking CBD for or what products are you taking – capsules, vapes, drops, topicals, CBD strength, etc. This is quite similar to consuming alcohol – one needs less than the other to feel the same inebriation.

So, let’s talk doses. First and foremost, I will always advise talking to your doctor for product recommendations and doses. Most likely your doctor will read what is on the label. If your doctor doesn’t provide you with suggestions, start LOW and SLOW – low dose and small amount.

By starting low and slow,  you will gently wake up your endocannabinoid system (ECS). and you will not overload it. An overload of CBD could confuse cannabinoid receptors in your body.  Because Everyones ECS is different, It might take a few weeks for your ECS to react and for you to feel the benefits of CBD.

OUR SUGGESTIONS FOR SOMEBODY TOTALLY UNSURE AND USING A TINCTURE/DROPS ARE:

  • WEEK 1: One drop 3x a day
  • WEEK 2: Two drops 3x a day
  • WEEK 3: Three drops 3x a day
  • WEEK 4: Four drops 3x a day.

Hold the tincture in your mouth for at least 1-5 minutes before swallowing – for maximum absorption.

Why is it important to hold it under the tongue?

  • CBD is fat-soluble whilst our bodies are made from water. Holding it under the tongue allows better absorption of the product into the bloodstream. When CBD is swallowed, it goes through our body with hardly and CBD reaching the bloodstream.
  • Consuming CBD oil sublingually allows the absorption process to bypasses the digestive system and liver metabolisation, allowing the compounds to reach your bloodstream and interact with the endocannabinoid system more quickly

HOW TO CALCULATE THE DOSAGE FOR CBD OIL TINCTURE?

CBD oil usually comes in a dropper bottle such as LVWell CBD 30% Cookie Flavour or CBD UK Online 400mg 4% Full Spectrum Oil.

The packaging usually specifies how much CBD is in a single drop. It helps you to decide how many drops you want to use.

Sometimes it’s harder to know how much CBD is in one drop because the packaging specifies the total amount of CBD in the entire bottle, but not the amount that will be in a single drop.

One drop is about 0.05 millilitres (mL). Just a single drop falling out of a dropper

This means that a 10-mL bottle of CBD oil contains 200 drops  ( 10ml/0.05mg = 200 drops). If the packaging for that 10-mL bottle says that the bottle contains 1,000 mg of CBD, each drop will contain about 5 mg of CBD.  ( 1000mg of CBD/ 200 drops = 5mg per drop )

So, if you want to have 20 mg of that type of CBD oil, you should take four drops.

If you are using another form of CBD oil products such as CBD gummies, capsules, or pills, indicate how much there is in a single serving. For example, the packaging on a bottle of CBD capsules might indicate that there is 5 mg of CBD per capsule.

I hope this article helps you to decide how much CBD oil you want to start with. Let me know your comments on how the articles helped if at all, any questions or other comments, I’ll be happy to tell you more.
